The Atrya Group chooses Reflex WMS to manage logistics at its twenty production sites

The Atrya group wanted to acquire warehouse management software to standardize its logistics processes and develop synergies among its various production units in order to cope with its strong growth. Reflex WMS was able to adapt to the specific requirements of the group's various business lines and Atrya now has a standardized, reliable and scalable logistics management system, able to support its growth in the long term.

Context and objectives
Since it was founded in 1980, Tryba has grown to become a European leader in the manufacture and distribution of solutions for the home: windows, doors, conservatories, shutters, garage doors and interior and exterior joinery for construction sites and renewable energy solutions. It became Atrya in 2004 but retained the Tryba brand for joinery. The group now has more than 1,900 employees and 20 production sites in France, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.
Historically, each plant used to manage its production, order picking and shipping independently. To support its strong growth at European level, company founder Johannes Tryba began a major project in 2009 to standardize practices and logistics tools. Four projects were undertaken at the same time: logistics plan definition, Web order management, transport management (TMS) and warehouse management (WMS).
Six companies were invited to tender for the WMS part and Hardis Group demonstrated its ability to meet the specific requirements of Atrya's business with its Reflex WMS solution: make-to-order production management, shipping of custom joinery and organization of transport according to customer type (large specialist retailers, tradespeople, general public, etc.).
From 2010, Atrya and Hardis Group worked together on defining technical needs and specific business processes to be integrated into the system. After developing an algorithm to identify each product individually rather than by standardized range and to recalculate loading meters on the fly for carriers, Reflex WMS was deployed to three sites in 2012. Optimizations were then made to accelerate deployment on other sites, taking into account the specific operational considerations at each production site.
